Rabia El Alama has 30 years of experience in U.S.-Morocco business relations, international trade, negotiation, mediation, mentoring, project management, entrepreneurship and counseling in management and strategy.
Rabia El Alama has played a key role in explaining the US-Morocco Free Trade Agreement (US FTA) to Moroccan and American entrepreneurs. She has given over 50 workshops on understanding the FTA and doing business with the US and Morocco. She has also organized roadshows to promote Morocco as a platform for production and export to Africa, Middle East, Europe and the US.
Rabia El Alama serves also as an international development consultant and has consulted for international organizations such as Nathan Associates, Global Integrity and ICF.
At the social responsibility level, Rabia El Alama is actively involved in women empowerment through trade and e-commerce. She recently launched her own Women Advancement Network (WAN). Rabia speaks Arabic, French, English and Italian.
