Mr. Komi Tsowou is an Economist at the Africa and Least Developed Countries Division of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD). He previously served as an Economic Analyst at the African Trade Policy Center, Regional Integration and Trade Division, United Nations Economic Commission for Africa and the UNCTAD Special Unit on Commodities.
In his various roles at the United Nations, Komi has been advising both public and private actors across Africa and beyond on various issues ranging from trade, industrialization and value chains development, commodities and market analysis to financing for development among others.
Before joining the UN, Komi has worked as Analyst, financial services in Canada and as a Consultant in Togo. Komi graduated in Quantitative Economics and also possess a MBA in Finance from University Laval, Canada.
