Finn Holm-Olsen is an international trade expert with over 20 years of professional experience working in Africa. During this time, he designed and managed enterprise development and capacity building programs, advanced U.S. trade policy interests in Africa, and promoted U.S.- African business ties.
He served as the Director of Trade Promotion and AGOA at the USAID-funded East Africa Trade and Investment Hub based in Nairobi, Kenya, a project implemented by DAI, Inc. In this role, he oversaw programs to raise the competitiveness of East Africa countries in key sectors and increased trade from the region to the U.S. under the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA).
Mr. Holm-Olsen served previously as the Senior South Africa Analyst at the U.S. Department of Commerce, where he coordinated U.S. commercial policy towards South Africa; and Commercial Attache at the U.S. Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya.
Mr. Holm-Olsen holds an M.B.A. in International Business and a B.S. in Marketing Management.
