Dr. Adeniyi Osamiluyi is the founder/CEO of Premier Medical Systems (PMS) Nigeria Limited, a digital health social enterprise, with the focus of leveraging Information Technology (IT) to improve access of the underserved to healthcare in Africa. PMS specializes in the design, development, deployment and support of solutions in the Healthcare sector.
Dr. Niyi graduated as a medical doctor from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He obtained a Certificate in Entrepreneurial Management and Certificate in Social Sector Management from the Enterprise Development Centre of the Pan-Atlantic University in 2011 and 2015 respectively. In order to be most effective in his passion, he acquired web application development skills. With this combination of Medical and IT skills, he was able to successfully launch various initiatives to serve his people.
Being a medical doctor has given him the opportunity to interact closely and extensively with expectant and new mothers and he is very passionate about improving maternal and infant mortality rate in Africa. He pioneered the delivery of health education using mobile technology (SMS and Voice) to expectant and new mothers in Nigeria (www.omowunmi.org). The pilot was covered by national television. The service is currently being used by 2 of Nigeria's largest Health Insurance companies.He also launched DokiLink (www.dokilink.com) - Africa's largest online community of medical doctors. Consumers are also able to book appointments with GPs/Specialists via the DokiLink platform.
Dr. Niyi is an avid reader and is always eager to share experience and participate in discussions that will lead to improved health for the vulnerable groups in the society
